Summer Internship at Tezpur University

Tezpur University seeks application from students for summer internship. Details can be found in http://www.tezu.ernet.in/notices/SIP-2012.pdf. Last semester, four of our CSE students were selected for winter internships. But they didn't go for it as they or their guardians thought the area is naxalite prone!!!!

Presentation by Educe Technologic for Summer Internship

Educe Technologic ( http://educetechnologic.com/Default.aspx ), a Kolkata based small scale software development house gave half an hour presentation in our CSE department in HIT on 27th March 2012 for introducing themselves as a destination for summer internship by students. Total 69 students attended the presentation.

HIT students to do Summer Internship in Premier Institutes

Few 6th sem CSE students of HIT, Haldia have secured chances for doing summer internships in prestigious institutions in India such as ISI Kolkata, IIT Guwahati, Jadavpur University, ISM Dhanbad etc.

This is a very good trend among the students that they are applying for R&D related internships.

Instructional Workshop on Cryptology 2012

National Instructional Workshop on Cryptology 2012, an annual event of Cryptology Research Society of India (CRSI), will be held in Manipal University, Jaipur during 21-23 June 2012. The details are as follows:

UGC will conduct NET examination on June 24th 2012. This year paper III is also going to be MCQ. Online application to be done from http://ugcnetonline.in/index.php.
