The school is in walking-distance from Braja-lal-chak bus stop. on the NH-41 highway from Kolaghat to Haldia. It takes approximately 1 hour by bus from Mecheda railway station in South Eastern Railway Howrah-Kharagpur Division. The school is 7 KM from Haldia rail station. Haldia is well connected by rail (Howrah-Haldia local, Panskura-Haldia local, Asansol-Haldia Express, Chennai-Haldia Weekly Express, Anand Vihar Terminus (Delhi)-Haldia weekly express). In another route, it takes 1 hour from Raichak in South 24 Pgs to reach the school by taking the Kukrahati-Haldia bus via Balughata.

Virtual Lab

Virtual Laboratory is an initiative of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, under the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT).

Advanced instructional school on Cryptography 2014 in SETS Chennai

The Advanced Training in Mathematics Schools (ATM Schools) were launched by the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM) in May 2004. The purpose of these schools is to provide training in core subjects in Mathematics to Ph.D. students, young researchers and teachers. The emphasis in these schools is on learning mathematics by doing it. IIT Bombay and TIFR have jointly established the National Centre for Mathematics (NCM) in 2011. The instructional schools and workshops which were earlier planned by an NBHM committee on ATM Schools are now being organised under the supervision of the Apex Committee of the NCM.

The objective is to organize quality schools which help researchers and teachers and learn advanced mathematics in an enjoyable way.

There are five types of training programmes under ATM Schools. They are described in the following table:
