Jadavpur university is looking for 4 project-linked positions in the projects Design of Multimodal Biometric System for Various Security and Forensic application, In Search Of Suitable Methods For Cluster Seeking And Data Mining, Predicting Protein-Protein Interactions, Studies of Data Compression Techniques.

Application forms are to be obtained from the Information Office of the University during 

working hours (11 am to 4 pm) on payment of Rs.50. The walk-in will be held on April 03, 2013 in  Committee Room of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Jadavpur University at 12:00 noon

Mathematics department of the RKMVU

It's a very good to see name of few girl students in the list of selected students for M.Sc program in Mathematics for the year 2013 in Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University. As Belur Vidyamandir and Narendrapur RKM Residential College is for boys only, I was wondering if the University would be co-educational or not. Mathematics department of the RKMVU has already started to earn respect from the peers.
