HIT organized Free Software Training Workshops Through Spoken Tutorial Project , IIT Bombay recently. They had sent CDs containing tutorial for Linux, PHP & My SQL, Latex, and Python. Current B. Tech 6th semester students Nirjhar and Debasree became the brand ambassador for this spoken tutorial and organized two sessions each for Linux, PHP & My SQL. This program is free of cost. But we charged Rs. 15-20 to collect the charges for postal communication for each students with Spoken Tutorial team at IIT Bombay, and stationary etc.
There were great interest among the students regarding this workshop.
